Alan Kropf, Editor in Chief of Mutineer Magazine, joined us for part of our trip and like me, had his camera attached to him the entire time. I still need more practice, but check out this great series of snippets below. You’ll recognize quite a bit from my last few posts. I’ve haven’t gotten to Coonawarra yet, but this will give you a taste of what’s to come.
I got an email today that Martin Scott is now carrying wine in a pouch. I will report back once I’ve sampled it, but fingers crossed that it’s tasty. Here’s an introduction video from their website:

As you know, I am a big supporter of local booze. Guess I haven’t been doing enough beer shopping at Walgreen’s.
It is worthwhile to read the full article that came out on Tuesday in my home-town newspaper about this “premium” and “genuine” brew that retails for $2.99 a six-pack. I hope the traffic up there doesn’t get out of control this summer when I’m trying to visit friends and family.
Stephen Colbert featured the beer in a segment at the beginning of this month.
Trenta is, however, a new cup size at Starbucks that will hold an entire bottle of wine. 31 oz. Wow. I’m no scientist, but I think it’s safer to consume this quantity of wine vs. this quantity of Starbucks coffee. This video will help clarify things for you:
